Cancellation Policy

Understand when and how you can cancel an order, and what happens when a cancellation occurs.

Overview

We understand that plans can change. This Cancellation Policy explains when and how you can cancel an order placed on the Healthy Cousin Platform, and the applicable fees or consequences of doing so.

Cancellation Window

You may cancel your order free of charge within 2 minutes of placing it, before the merchant has accepted or started preparing your order.


Once the merchant has accepted and started preparing your order, cancellation may not be possible, or a cancellation fee may apply.

How to Cancel an Order

To cancel an order:


  • 1. Open the Healthy Cousin app.
  • 2. Go to My Orders and select the order you wish to cancel.
  • 3. Tap Cancel Order and select a reason.
  • 4. Confirm the cancellation.

  • If the Cancel Order option is no longer available, your order is already being prepared and cannot be cancelled through the app. Please contact support at support@healthycousin.in immediately, though we cannot guarantee cancellation at this stage.

    Cancellation Fees

    Cancellation fees may apply in the following scenarios:


  • • After merchant acceptance but before dispatch: A partial cancellation fee may be charged to cover preparation costs incurred by the merchant.
  • • After dispatch: Orders cannot be cancelled once a delivery partner has picked them up.

  • Any applicable cancellation fee will be deducted from your refund. The net refund amount will be displayed before you confirm the cancellation.

    Cancellation by Merchant or Healthy Cousin

    In some cases, we or the merchant may need to cancel your order due to:


  • • Item unavailability
  • • Operational issues at the merchant
  • • Inability to find a delivery partner
  • • Suspected fraud or policy violations

  • In all such cases, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method within 5–7 business days, or as wallet credits for faster resolution.

    Refund on Cancellation

    Refunds for cancelled orders are processed as follows:


  • • Online payments (UPI, Card, Net Banking): Refunded to the original payment source within 5–7 business days.
  • • Wallet credits: Instant credit to your Healthy Cousin wallet.
  • • Cash on Delivery orders: If cancelled before dispatch, no charge applies. If cancelled after dispatch, the physical cash collection process applies.

  • Delivery fees are non-refundable once a delivery partner has been dispatched, unless the cancellation was caused by Healthy Cousin or the merchant.

    Repeat Cancellations

    Excessive or repeated cancellations may result in restrictions on your account, including reduced access to certain features or order limits, at our sole discretion. This is to ensure fairness to merchants and delivery partners.
